Kash-for-K9s
GV Magazine was asked to be a contact point for Kash-for-K9s, a local program modeled after Alaska’s Dollars-for-Dogs nonprofit organization that provides support funding for area law enforcement’s K9 Units. (Reference “Oldo and the Officer: Local Heroes” in this month’s issue of GV Magazine.) We are delighted to do so!
A group of concerned citizens and several community leaders are in the process of forming a board of directors as Kash-for-K9s first step to becoming a 501c not-for-profit organization. Care Packages for Soldiers
GV Magazine is honored to join with the Grand Valley Blue Star Mothers and other local military support organizations to help bring “a little piece of home” to our Western Colorado men and women serving in the U.S. military. The moment we heard that our soldiers away from home were asking for them, we began donating current and back issue of the magazine to add to their care packages to soldiers.
